White Christmas??
We had a cold front come in over the weekend, dropping some snow and bringing frigid temperatures. We probably got about 5" of snow Friday night/Saturday morning. But the wind caused lots of snow drifts. The temperatures continued to drop over the weekend and plummeted to -20 last night. It was still -14 on our way to work this morning. BRRRRRRRRR!

Christmas Vacation
Hi all -
Patrick, Jayce and I are getting ready to go on our big Christmas Trip home to see our loved ones and friends. We are so excited! We leave on Dec. 19th and are flying into Seattle to meet up with Nana Patty and Papa Dave. We are then heading south for Bend, OR. We will be spending the 20-24 in Bend with the Dave, Patty, Popo, Eric, Amy, Grant, and Rylee. It should be really fun getting the kids together. Then we will be heading north again to Longview, WA to spend the 24-28 with my family. It should be a blast to spend Christmas with Papa Ron, Nana Linda, Diamond, Owen, Mandy, Chad, Halle, and Gunnar. With so many new additions to our growing family we have so much to be thankful for. I can't wait to share Jayce's first Christmas with everyone. We are so lucky we are able to go home and spend it with family. I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Christmas Tree Adventure
This weekend we went about half hour up into the National Forest to find our Christmas Tree. We were brave and decided to go as a family and bring Jayce. We bought him a warm furry outfit to help keep him warm. We bought a $5 tree tag and were on our way. The weather was fairly mild compared to the last 2 years we were up there. There was barely any snow... Here are a few pictures of our excursion. Jayce did really well, he seemed to enjoy our little hike. He is always such a trooper!

7 months old ALREADY...
I can't even believe it, Jayce is 7 months old today. Jayce is keeping us busy these days. He can pretty much get to where ever he wants, he officially has the army crawl down. He wants everything he can't have, and doesn't seem to want any of his toys. He is eating cereal, fruits and veggies twice a day and bottles every 3 or so hours. He seems to like all the food we have given him so far. We can't seem to feed him fast enough. Jayce is so strong, he gets a good grip on things (like Crystal's hair). He has 2 bottom teeth, but we think one of his top teeth might be making it's way done. We got some picture taken of Jayce and us last week, and there are a few good ones. I will post them soon. Jayce is such a happy and smiley baby, but he didn't want to smile for the portraits. It was kind of bad timing on our part. It was getting close to eating and nap time. But we are happy that we got a few good pictures to share. Jayce is doing well at daycare. He is all smiles when we drop him off, and happy when we get to pick him up. Picking Jayce up is my favorite time of day. I can't wait to see that little guy. We will soon need to officially baby proof the house, as Jayce is getting more mobile. We recently had to lower his crib. Changing Jayce's clothes and diapers is a huge challenge these days. He is so strong and he wants to roll over all the time. It is pretty much a 2 person job right now. It is really funny to watch Jayce concentrate on things and learn new tricks. He makes us laugh all the time. Well I hope everyone has a fabulous Thanksgiving!

Halloween 2008
Jayce was sick on Halloween so we didn't do much. We did go to a party at Pat's co-workers house for just a little bit. Jayce's Halloween costume barely fit him, but it was really cute.

Jayce 6 Month Check-Up
Hi all –
Jayce had his 6 month check-up this morning, so I thought I would let everyone know his stats….. He is right on track and doing all the things he should be. He is able to sit up for a little bit by himself, and then he usually tips over. Jayce is trying really hard to learn how to crawl. He is able to get up on his hands and knees and rock back and forth. He also can scoot backwards and does a 360 degree circle. He is really strong and growing so fast. He is in the 50th percentile for his weight and height. He was 17lbs 7oz, and 26 ½" long. He had 3 shots, he cries when he gets them but as soon as they are done he quits crying. He is such a trooper. Jayce has been eating cereal for the last 3 or 4 weeks and he really seems to like it. We will start introducing stage 1 foods starting today. He has 2 bottom teeth. They are so cute when he smiles. He is such a good baby: he is sweet, happy, cute, and lovable. Well I better get back to work.
